29 - SILVERNESSA
|
The inspiration for Silvernessa came when I stumbled across some silver sugar tongs given to me by my grandmother. How lovely would it be to treasure her memory by wearing them in the form of a bracelet?
As Silvernessa, I create beautiful jewellery hand crafted from antique and vintage silver cutlery. I carefully source all the cutlery that I use to add interest to the finished piece – whether decorative or simple and elegant, all are within an affordable price range |

32 - NORTHUMBRIAN IMAGES
|
Lee lives south of Alnwick in beautiful Northumberland.
He works in two distinct but yet sometimes intertwining methods of art, Sculpture & Pyrography. Lee's sculpture is completely original & driven by ancient history. He uses driftwood, riverwood & stone to give life to his work. Lee's pyrography work is very nature inspired & he has also began to incorporate colour into the pieces which gives them a beautiful depth with the burning of the surface of the wood. |

34 - MOORENDFELTS
|
Hi my name in Linda Bennett and I am Moorendfelts. I live in Cumbria where I have my home studio over looking my garden and the mountain of Blencathra. I am a feltmaker and specialaise in a technique called Nuno felting, I felt bluefaced leciester wool into silk fabrics to create unique and one of a kind accessories and gifts. I love flowers and my garden is a bit unruly as I pack in as much colour and texture as I can. You’ll see that flowers are a huge influence in my work, as are Indian textiles with their bold colours, patterns and textures. You’ll particularly see flowers and traditional block printed patterns in my notebook covers, sewing accessories and some of my nuno felted scarf designs.

36 - JO BOLTON, ABUNDANT EARTH
|
I love the sustainable and ancient craft of basketmaking. My willow is grown here on our land in Durham, then cut, dried and soaked to create my baskets. Enjoying the classic mix of leather with willow, I use vegetable tanned leather for straps and handles on my baskets, along with the more traditional willow bow handles. I have willow stars, angels and wreaths for Christmas and my work also includes pieces for outdoors, such as willow obelisks, bird feeders and dragonflies.
I teach privately and run courses. |
