1 - CARRIE'S COUNTRY CLASSICS
|
Welcome to ‘Carrie's Country Classics’. Inspired as a child by the rag-bag and button box, Carrie’s Country Classics comes from a lifelong enjoyment of creating gifts with materials and yarns. I design and create hand sewn gifts and accessories, inspired by the seasons and nature that are reflected in my garden. I enjoy using a range of textiles and threads combined with free hand embroidery to embellish items such as bookmarks, bunting and needle books.
Thank you for looking at my work! |
2 - SPICYMONKEY

Spicymonkey are a local producer of ready made curry sauces. All our sauces are handmade right here in Durham, using our own recipes. We do also have Indian and Thai style curry, just with our own Spicymonkey take on them.
We have gift boxes available on our website, as well as loads of recipe ideas. Our website always offers FREE DELIVERY and you can use the following discount codes: - CURRY10 for 10% off any order, or FREEZERFULL for 20% off orders over £30. |
3 - LULUMOSAICS
|
Add a bit of sparkle and magic to your Christmas!! Treat yourself, your friends or family to an original mosaic piece.
All my mosaic creations are handmade and unique: not two ones are ever the same. To make them I use a variety of different materials: glass tesserae, beads, broken vintage china, mirror, Tiffany glass, etc. All reflect the light beautifully. |
4 - PROSECCO & RUBIES
At Prosecco & Rubies, I design and make elegant jewellery using silver, gold, gemstones and sea glass. I offer collections with pieces that can be customised; I can also work with you to create unique items for special occasions. My pieces are inspired by the materials I work with and the traditional metalsmithing techniques that I use. I endeavour to be an ethical jeweller by using recycled silver, Fairtrade and Single Mine Origin gold, and sourcing gemstones from suppliers with strong ethical values where possible.

6 - SEASHORE ART - MICK KELLY
|
My seashore art has developed over the past few years, taking inspiration from my regular walks along the North East coastline and watching nature documentaries. I started to see the possibilities of creating pictures from items found on the beach which include driftwood, shells, sea glass, pebbles and seaweed. My imagination enables me to create works with various themes and humour in a very unique style.
My pictures are available to view on instagram. Contact: mickellyseashoreart@gmail.com |

|
With UK woodland cover at just 13% compared with a European average of 27%, and woodland species declining at an alarming rate, this must be the time to act.
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity. We are out there on the front line battling against climate change and creating havens for wildlife by planting millions of trees every year, campaigning for new laws to protect ancient woodland and restoring damaged ancient woods so they can breathe again. If you share that vision join us and be part of the fight. |
