Yes, the Summer Craft Fair 2021 is going ahead over the usual weekend at the end of July.
In keeping with the current advice, there will be a limit on the number of people in the fair at one time and it will operate with a one-way system. Therefore, pre-booking timed entry slots is strongly recommended.

• What is different about Summer Craft Fair 2021?
The fair will operate with a one-way system in place in order to help us avoid congestion and to allow customers and stallholders who wish to maintain social distance to feel comfortable. We will also be limiting number of people in the fair at any one time, therefore pre-booking your entry time is advised.

• How likely is the Craft Fair to be cancelled if the regulations do not change on July 19th?
The Craft Fair has been planned to be compatible with the regulations as they were on May 17th. Therefore, if the relaxation of the rules on July 19th does not happen fully the Craft Fair can still go ahead.
• Do I need to pre-book an entry slot?
Pre-booking is advised. Entry on the day without pre-booking or outside of your booked timeslot is possible however you may be asked to queue in order to avoid overcrowding in the fair.

• What if I miss my pre-booked entry time?
You will still be allowed to enter the Craft Fair without the need to purchase a new ticket. However, in order to avoid overcrowding in the fair you may be asked to queue.

Yes, tickets will be sold on the gate. However, in order to maintain the number of people in the fair you may be asked to queue.

• How many stalls will be exhibiting?
We currently have over 50 stalls confirmed.
• Are the cafés available as usual?
The main Castle Café will be open serving hot and cold food and drinks, with the added bonus this fair of seating in the Dining Room. The separately owned Café Burgschneider in the castle gatehouse will also be open for drinks and cakes.
• Are facilities available as usual?
Yes, the usual access will be available to toilets as well as disabled toilets.
• Is disabled access to the inside as usual?
Yes, the step free access into the building will be available.
• Will I need to wear a mask?
The requirement to wear masks inside will depend on the regulations on the day. Our team will be able to advise you on the day.
